Abstract

Understand the motivations behind high-end people's preferences for luxury fashion and the influence of social and psychological factors in shaping this consumptive lifestyle and uncover how high-end people use luxury fashion as a tool to build and express their identities in increasingly complex social contexts by identifying recurring themes in the data, such as motivations and values associated with luxury fashion. The research method used is qualitative to explore a deep understanding of the experiences, perceptions, and motivations of high-end people regarding luxury fashion preferences. Every detail of the outfit has its own meaning and symbolism. Although it looks very beautiful, 18th-century clothing is actually very impractical even though it is very different from today's fashion, 18th-century style continues to inspire modern designers. Details such as wide skirts, pastel colors, and striking accessories often reappear in the latest collections. The lavish style of dress in 18th-century England is an interesting portrait of history. Through clothing, we can see how society at that time viewed beauty, social status, and power. Although very different from modern clothing styles, the heritage of 18th-century fashion lives on to this day and continues to inspire generations to come.
