Abstract

In the world of literature, value and meaning play an important role. When a work of literature contains deviations, its value will be highly questionable, especially in children's literature. In this article, the author discusses the deviation that exists in children's literature, namely gender deviation, LGBTQ. Being gay/lesbian in Indonesia is very controversial. The pros and cons of being LGBTQ are still unresolved to this day. This LGBTQ gender deviation is in a work of children's literature, namely an animated video-based children's song. This research uses a children's literature approach with Reynolds' theory to support the author's analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting literature revidew, which is then described in depth and more detail. The author focuses on how the deviation appears in the animation, and explains how in the end literature is expected to be a good learning and entertainment medium for children.
