Hospitals are a critical component of healthcare services, essential in supporting health efforts. Given the complex nature of hospital operations, a robust information system is vital for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. Dr. Hafiz Hospital in Cianjur, a private healthcare facility, handles approximately 500 outpatient visits daily. A case study revealed issues in the registration process, particularly for outpatients who arrive early due to geographical constraints, often waiting for hours before registration begins. This study proposes designing an Online Patient Registration Information System to enhance service delivery. The system aims to optimize patient satisfaction, mitigate medical errors, ensure cost control, prioritize consumer-focused services, and safeguard privacy. Leveraging information technology, especially web-based platforms, the system offers significant advantages, including 24/7 accessibility, convenience, and reduced queuing times. The study explores implementing the Extreme Programming (XP) method in developing a web-based system tailored to meet the hospital's evolving needs and align with the Ministry of Health's standards for outpatient waiting times.
