Abstrak

A web-based sales information system is a modern solution in improving efficiency and quality of service in bookstores. This research aims to design and implement a web-based information system that facilitates transaction management, book data management, and sales reporting. System development uses the Scrum method, which allows the development process to be carried out iteratively and collaboratively. The test results show that this system is able to speed up the transaction process by 40% compared to the manual method. In addition, the ease of real-time data access helps store owners in making strategic decisions. The system also improves user experience with an intuitive and responsive interface. Thus, the implementation of this web-based information system is expected to be an effective tool to support bookstore operations and increase competitiveness in the digital era. This research makes an important contribution to the development of information technology for the trade sector, especially in small and medium enterprises.
